Dear Postmaster,
Thank you for your recent letter regarding the spamming of mailing lists
by a user from eagle.ais.net. According to our logs, this user is actually
not from AIS, but merely using eagle.ais.net as an SMTP relay host.
Further more, this user is reporting him/her self as 'eidos@winternet.com'.
IDENT is resolving this user as 'johnf@netcom13.netcom.com'.
postmaster@netcom.com has been notified, as well as CERT (someone else
started the CERT involvment, I merely responded with logs.)
Thanks for your cooperation in this matter.
