Can't do it with Eudora.  I did write them and suggested it as 
something they should consider doing.  I tried Z-Mail, which does it and does it 
nicely,  but it crashed my computer on a daily basis and ran slower 
than molassas with the volume of mail I normally receive.  Someone 
told me Pegasus would do it and while there is no direct way of doing
it within the program, I set up a number of command line options and
now completely manage my Smartlist list with Pegasus.  If anyone is 
interested in how I did it and what the mail looks like, let me know. 
It took a little time to set it up, but it works very well.

Another way I do it is to telnet into your UNIX  account and use PINE.  Pine 
allows you to create custom headers and then have all your  commands 
on windows macros that you'd  run.  All I have to do is type in addresses.
