I have seen Hypermail. Does any one have experience with it? Or any other
  converter?

Hypermail is what is used on the lynx-dev list. I am a user, not
stuck with configuring and maintaining it. But there is a pretty
general impression that it is a real improvement. This list
involves people working on a web browser, so it is a particularly
natural fit.

In particular, it makes it easy to turn out rough-and-ready FAQs
by pulling together links to posts on issues of chronic interest.
For some examples, point your web browser at:

http://access.digex.net/~asgilman/lynx/FAQ/

This will also lead you back to the list archive in ~2 clicks.

PS: for people with only mail access to the Internet, learn about
agora.
